Grapes hanging on the vine
The Barossa and Light Regional Development Board in conjunction with Sturt ACC and DTED, are currently running an “Everyday Food” Tourism Project.
The project aims improve and enhance the Barossa regions profile to be identified as SA’s leading food and wine tourism destination. The project will engage small and micro businesses that provide “Everyday” food to visitors and locals with a series of workshops. Such businesses include B&B’s, cafes/restaurants, takeaway and fast food outlets, motels, cellar doors etc. The project will assist them in gaining the skills, knowledge and confidence to make the ‘regional point of difference’ work better for their business, enhancing local economic activity and encouraging visitor spend whilst building the “Barossa” brand.
