Early in 2005 the Barossa and Light Regional Development Board (BLD) realigned its programs and activities into three service areas that will make it easier for organisations and customers to access its different areas of expertise.

BLD Business will focus on short-term or immediate assistance for local businesses that require advice and counsel in such areas as starting up a business, financial management, market analysis, growth strategies, employee planning, long-term business planning, distribution and many others.
